sustainability

We are proud to make each collection in partnership with manufacturers and fabric suppliers that place sustainability at the heart of their work. We intentionally work closely with a small network of specialist makers. Our garments are produced in Portugal.

All production runs are intentionally limited. We produce in small quantities to avoid overproduction, reduce excess inventory, and ensure each piece is made with purpose rather than volume.

our mission to be textile waste negative

fashion production comprises 10% of total global carbon emissions. the industry dries up water resources and pollutes rivers and streams, while 85% of all textiles go to dumps each year. even washing clothes releases 500,000 tons of microfibers into the ocean each year, the equivalent of 50 billion plastic bottles.

we are determined to help shift these trends. ultimately, our goal is to be a textile waste negative brand which means we would actively remove more textile waste from the environment than we produce. over time as our brand grows, we will continue to innovate and find ways to become a textile waste negative brand.

our first steps

contaminated water from both textile production and waste can have devastating impacts on the health of local communities and natural ecosystems.

our products are crafted ethically and sustainably and built to last to minimise our environmental impact. we’ve also committed to donating $1 from every liminal product sold, to charity water.
